Welcome to Toggle Africa! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our online cohort program, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Toggle Africa ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
Toggle Africa provides tech and digital training, tech and digital solutions services. These Terms specifically govern your participation in our online cohort programs. We aim to empower individuals globally with in-demand tech skills, fostering a diverse and inclusive learning community.
To access certain service features, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and are liable for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You agree not to share your account credentials with any third party.
Enrollment in our online cohort programs requires payment of applicable fees. We use SquadCo, a secure payment gateway, to process transactions. All fees are payable in the currency specified at the time of purchase. We may offer different payment plans or financing options at our discretion.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing within one (1) week of the program start date, clearly stating the reason for the refund request. Refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 10 business days.
After a week, refunds are not available. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise.
Participants may request to switch to a different cohort due to documented health or emergency situations. Such requests must be made in writing and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, subject to availability in other cohorts.
Participants may request to pause their program participation and resume with a future cohort due to documented health or emergency situations. Such requests must be made in writing and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, subject to availability in other cohorts. A pause may be granted for a maximum of (2) cohorts.
User data on our platform will be retained for one (1) month after the completion of the cohort program. Users are responsible for downloading or saving any materials they wish to keep beyond this period. We may retain anonymized, aggregated data for statistical and analytical purposes.
We process user data in accordance with the Nigerian Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and other applicable data protection laws. Our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms, details our data collection, use, and protection practices. By using our Services, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Participants will have access to a dedicated Slack channel for user support during the program. We will make reasonable efforts to respond to support requests promptly. Additional support resources, such as FAQs and documentation, may be available.
Toggle Africa is committed to providing an inclusive learning environment. Our platform and programs are designed to be accessible to individuals of all backgrounds, including diverse gender identities, and abilities. We encourage participants to inform us of any specific accessibility needs so that we can make reasonable accommodations.
Toogle Africa Content: All course materials, lectures, and other content provided by Toogle Africa are the sole property of Toogle Africa and are protected by copyright law. Participants are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use these materials for personal, non-commercial educational purposes directly related to the program. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification of Toggle Africa content is strictly prohibited.
Student’s Work: Students retain ownership of the intellectual property they create during the program. However, students grant Toggle Africa a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use their work for promotional and marketing purposes on our website, social media channels, and in other marketing materials, with appropriate attribution. Students may revoke this license by providing written notice to Toggle Africa.
Mentor’s Work: Mentors retain ownership of the intellectual property they create. Mentors grant Toggle Africa a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use their work for promotional and marketing purposes on our website, social media channels, and in other marketing materials, with appropriate attribution.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect user data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no data transmission over the Internet is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and devices. We encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your software updated.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through the following process:
Informal Discussion: The parties will first attempt to resolve the dispute through informal discussions.
Mediation: If the dispute cannot be resolved through informal discussions within fourteen (14) days, the parties will submit the dispute to mediation at the Abuja Multi-Door Courthouse or another mutually agreed-upon mediation center.
Litigation: If mediation is unsuccessful, the parties may pursue litigation in the courts of Abuja, Nigeria.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and/or sending you an email notification. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Toggle Africa regarding the Services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
No waiver of any provision of these Terms shall be deemed to be a waiver of any other provision or of any subsequent breach.
